RICS Interview: Unlocking Operational BIM Benefits

We’re excited to share that our CTO, Adam Korbuly recently had an insightful conversation with Andrew Kinght from RICS, where they discussed Operational BIM and its use in facility and industrial operation.

Adam explained the short and long-term benefits provided by the values given in ESG, by reducing or preventing downtimes in production operation. He also emphasized that BIM is not a one-off information source providing a single benefit, but it should be a Digital Twin. A data model that serves as the single source of truth throughout the entire operational lifespan of the facility.

The key takeaways? Significant savings in operation and a notable reduction in production downtime. These benefits are proving to be game-changers for enterprise facilities.
